Growing up in a family of Realtors, I learned early on that I didn't want to sell homes. I decided I better go to school so I could get away from the hard work and long days of my parents. After graduating from Western Washington University with a B.S. in Political Sceince, I decided to head off to Washington D.C. as an intern for the Department of Commerce. I soon realized the political red tape and paperwork weren't for me. I wanted to see real results in my work. Next I tried what everyone at the time tried, computer programming. I worked for some time at a data acquisition company. After two years the life in a cubicle wore on me. After some consideration, I came to the conclusion "I am a realtor."
I now thrive on the challenges of real estate. I love coming to work and knowing everyday will be different. Some days are difficult and long, but when I hand the keys to a new homeowner it all becomes worth it. As a third generation agent I have had tremendous support from my parents and grandparents to overcome any difficulties. I look forward to any challenges and goodtimes that lie ahead.
